Built because an original is just too hard to find.

Frustrated with the fact that the original Rommels Rod has never been reissued, I set forth to create my own. Two Mercedes 600's were grafted together with the track section from a 1/35th scale Marine landing craft. The front wheels, machine gun, and radio equipment came from a Landrover kit. The tank commander from a 1/25th scale Tiger tank was put in charge. The parts box was scrounged for other stuff to finish the look.
