Direct from the pages of Scale Auto Enthusiast's Sketchpad.

Starting with a Dodge RAM VTS, I chopped, sectioned, and molded the cab until it looked like the drawing. I thought the Pontiac hood scoop didn't look right, so I used a 'Cuda shaker scoop. The frame was shortened and the bed made from balsa and plastruct. The headlights, wheels, tires, seats, and instrument panel were sourced from a Plymouth Prowler. Originally, I was going to use this cab for an updated Garbage Truck, the orange color was mixed to match the German refuse truck colors. When SAE opened their "build a sketchpad model" contest, the truck was finished as the Beer Wagon 2 as shown in the drawing. The emblems are beercaps from my favorite German beer!
