About me

I was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in a Navy family; we traveled half way around the world before I started grade school. After my Dad retired, we settled in South Dakota. I graduated high school there and went on to tech school in Wyoming, where I learned autobody repair. I served in the Army National Guard for five years with the best Artillery unit west of the Mississippi before joining the active Army for the next ten years. I served as Ordnance, Artillery (Powder River, let 'er buck!), Transportation, and Communications through those years. I was also combat lifesaver, NBC, aircraft loadplanner, and AIRBORNE qualified.
For those that have to ask,
"Why would you want to jump from a perfectly good airplane?",
I can only say you'll never know till you try it!
I have fond memories of serving with 1-49th Field Artillery, 1st Armored Division, 11th Transportation, Special Forces, and NATO. The years with the 3rd Special Forces Group were the best. Didn’t wear the green beret, I was commo support. I am a proud Veteran of Desert Shield/Storm and active in the VFW, Military Order of the Cootie, and American Legion. I now work as a communications technician in Germany.

I started building models at the age of seven, and haven't stopped. It all started with a 1940 coupe that I built and my Dad painted red, with racing stripes and the number 7 on the doors. I lost count how many models were built, but through the years, and many moves, the majority of my models have been lost, but I think that old Ford coupe might be resting in the attic back in South Dakota. I continue to build models when time permits. It seems to go in streaks.

Why the wolf?

Back in the days when I played RPG's like Dungeons and Dragons and the like, I always liked the Celtic Lore. The bigredwolf is just my interpretation of one of those legends.

Along with POW's and MIA's, let's not forget the other missing people out there.
National Center for Missing Children.
